From the onset of this situation, we have been monitoring and following the recommendations of Ontario Public Health to ensure the safety of our employees and the clients we serve and you can read the guidelines issued by Men’s Health community on this issue and what must be our role to stop spreading it to others. Our Management Team is ensuring that we have the most accurate and up-to-date information, and our plan reflects those inputs. As things evolve, we are actively monitoring the crisis and assessing the risks. We are ready to implement immediate changes to ensure a high level of safety.
We will continue to communicate with you as may be necessary and promptly on a variety of significant developments:
What we’re doing:
We have:
Ø Instituted a screening form to be completed by all of our employees reporting for work and guests entering our offices.
Ø Taken steps to help protect our staff from possible exposure to COVID-19 by reducing the number of face-to-face meetings that we organize. With the use of technology, this has been made simple and even more effective.
Ø Provided over the phone screening with all our field workers. They have all been advised of the need for good hygiene, to stay away from congregating in groups of 25 or more.
Ø Advised staff who have been outside Canada or live with someone who has been outside Canada in the last 14 days to self-quarantine and monitor themselves for a period of 14 days after their arrival in Canada and those who have returned from a designated “hot spot” by the Canadian government, have also been asked to stay home and self-quarantine.
Ø Advised staff to stay home when they are sick and to avoid shaking hands
Ø Suspended all in-house and external training until March 31st, 2020 when we will review conditions and situations.
Ø Limited our office staff contact with visitors to our offices
Additionally, we are asking our valued clients to notify Dorvict if any of your staff or clients have tested positive or are being investigated for symptoms of COVID-19
We recognize that this is a challenging period globally and we remain deeply committed to the safety of our customers, employees and communities in which we operate.
We look forward to continuing to serve you to the best of our abilities.
Please take care of yourself and your loved ones.
