Autism is a complex neurological disorder that will affect an individual throughout their lifetime. Individuals with Autism have difficulties with social and communication skills, as well as learning disabilities and unusual response to sensory information. Autism is one part of a group of disorders know as Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
Our course allows you to further understand the disorder, how it’s diagnosed, sensory challenges and how anxiety impacts an individual, how to identify factors that contribute to challenging behaviour and applying key strategies in various situations.
